By Future Wash Team
One of the best-kept secrets for Bay Area frequent travelers is using airport parking time to get a professional car wash. The math is simple: you're leaving the car for two days, five days, or two weeks. Instead of returning to the same dirty car you left, you return to a freshly washed one. The wash happens while you're in the air.
Future Wash operates across SJC's parking areas — Economy Lot 1, Hourly Lot 2, Hourly Lot 3, Daily Lot 4, and Hourly & Daily Lot 5 — as well as SFO's parking areas. The service works the same way it does at your home: you give us the vehicle location and parking area details when you book, and a technician services the car while it's parked. You return to a clean car without any additional stops.
Airport service is exterior-only — a hand wash of the paint, wheels, and glass, with an optional paint sealant or a clay bar and sealant upgrade for a deeper treatment. There's no interior service at the airport. Choose Exterior Hand Wash ($59.99), Exterior Wash Plus Wax/Sealant ($89.99), or Exterior Mini-Detail ($199) with clay bar decontamination plus paint sealant — our most thorough exterior treatment.
The timing logistics are flexible. You can book for the day you leave, any day during your trip, or the day before you return — whichever fits your schedule.
What works especially well for airport washes is that the car is sitting in one place for an extended period. Technicians can take their time without any scheduling pressure. The result is often our most thorough work — every panel, every wheel, and every glass surface gets the attention it deserves because the car isn't going anywhere.
For Bay Area travelers who fly regularly, the airport wash becomes part of the travel routine. Leave, fly, return to a clean car. Some of our members schedule every SJC or SFO trip as a wash appointment — it's one of those habits that makes the return home feel a little better than the departure.
